Young violinist Charlotte Thiele from Dresden appreciates versatility and extraordinary concert formats. She performs as a violin soloist with orchestras, and occasionally also as a duo with her brother, the cellist Friedrich Thiele. She also plays in chamber music formations and as guest concertmaster with ensembles such as the orchestra of the Deutsche Oper Berlin or the Kammerakademie Potsdam. Since the 2023/24 season she is a member of the Giuseppe Sinopoli Academy of the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden as 1st concertmaster.

Guest performances on almost every continent and collaborations with guests from all over the world have established the reputation of the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra in the international classical music world.
