Brad Mehldau

Jazz pianist Brad Mehldau hails from Florida and has become one of the leading artists in his field with his very personal blend of diverse musical styles. He combines form and improvisation, mixing structure and wonder to create new music in a trio or as a soloist. He has also worked with artists such as Pat Metheny, Renée Fleming and Joshua Redman, which has contributed to his international fame since the beginning of his career in the 1990s.

Kirill Gerstein is Artist in Residence of the Dresden Philharmonic for the 2026/27 season. He is one of the best-known pianists of our time, but also works as a curator, teacher and musical director from the piano. With his curiosity, imagination and virtuosity, he is a highly sought-after artistic partner worldwide for orchestras, festivals, music labels, media portals, as well as fellow musicians.
