Francesco Piemontesi

"Making music is like a second language for me", says says Francesco Piemontesi. And he speaks this language perfectly, his interpretations on the piano exude sensitivity, intimacy and poetry, but at the same time they have power and brilliance. The Swiss-Italian pianist has earned a reputation as one of the leading interpreters of the German classical and romantic repertoire, but his programs also include works from Johann Sebastian Bach to Unsuk Chin.
