Julian Rachlin

Violinist and conductor Julian Rachlin is Music Director of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Chief Conductor of the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, Artistic Director of the Herbstgold Festival at Esterházy Palace, and Professor of Violin in Vienna. He tours the world as a soloist, in various chamber music constellations, and as a sought-after guest conductor, and is committed to the education of young talents with the “Julian Rachlin & Friends Circle”. He is a guest conductor with the Dresden Philharmonic for the first time.

Alexandra Dovgan

The young pianist Alexandra Dovgan has not yet even completed her piano studies, but has been performing successfully on the international stage for many years, most recently at venues including the Vienna Musikverein and Carnegie Hall. With her charismatic stage presence, profound expressiveness and precise tone, she captivates audiences and regularly receives standing ovations. She won the first of many competitions at the age of ten and received significant guidance for her development from Grigory Sokolov.
