Tabita Berglund

The Norwegian conductor Tabita Berglund has been described as “one of Europe's greatest promises” (Helsingin Sanomat) and impresses with her charismatic and inspiring style. She will be Principal Guest Conductor of the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra until summer 2024, after which she will take up the same position with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and from 2025/26 she will be Principal Guest Conductor of the Dresden Philharmonic. In addition to her broad repertoire ranging from Mozart to Lutosławski, she is particularly committed to the music of composers from the Nordic countries.

Ivan Karizna

The young cellist Ivan Karizna is known equally for his poetic interpretations and his powerful stage presence. In his native Belarus, he was initially trained in the Russian school, but then switched to the Paris Conservatory at the age of 17 and eventually made France his chosen home. In 2024/25, he will perform three times at the Cello Biennale in Amsterdam and go on a European tour with the Ukrainian National Symphony Orchestra.
