Wanderlust and homesickness. When Antonín Dvořák lived in New York for several years, he got to know the "New World" not only in the city but also in the countryside. With enthusiasm and perseverance, he traveled many hours by train, collecting various impressions and melodies. It's actually funny that he didn't encounter Phili, the little earth girl, during his travels! Or maybe he did? What would he have told her back then? What is it like to work somewhere completely different, where you are not at home? And can you hear that in the music too?Antonín Dvořák
