At around 10 years of age or after completing the preliminary classes, one is accepted into the children's choir. Joint concerts with the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra support the ongoing professional work with the children and contribute to its diverse musical spectrum. This includes performances in Dresden, but also throughout Germany and abroad. The Dresden children have already performed in China, Japan, the USA, South Africa, Australia and the United Arab Emirates.
