Martin Lehmann

Since the fall of 2022, Martin Lehmann has been the 29th Kreuzkantor, making him the incumbent of one of the most prestigious posts in Protestant church music. He was a member of the Crucians himself during his childhood and youth, and later studied choral and orchestral conducting in Dresden. He gained important experience during his studies as an assistant to Hans-Christoph Rademann at the Dresden Chamber Choir. After working in Leipzig and Wuppertal, he took over the Windsbacher Knabenchor for ten years in 2012.

Katharina Konradi

Born in Kyrgyzstan and living in Germany since her youth, soprano Katharina Konradi has been a permanent member of the Hamburg State Opera ensemble since 2018. She can also be heard regularly at other European opera houses, including as Oscar in "Un ballo di maschera’"and Susanna in "Le nozze di Figaro". In concert, she sings many sacred works such as masses and requiems and gives numerous recitals, which take her to important festivals and renowned concert venues.

Marie Henriette Reinhold

Since graduating with honors in 2020, Leipzig-born, versatile mezzo-soprano Marie Henriette Reinhold has performed in numerous concert halls and main churches in Germany and other European countries. She has been performing at the Bayreuth Festival since 2019, where she once again takes on five of the smaller Wagner roles in the summer of 2025. However, she is also highly successful in the baroque repertoire, in contemporary music and in Lied interpretation.

Patrick Grahl

Patrick Grahl was initially a member of the St. Thomas Boys' Choir and later studied singing in his hometown of Leipzig as well. During his studies, the tenor already gained experience on the opera stage. In 2016, he was awarded 1st prize at the Leipzig Bach Competition, which opened many doors for him as an oratorio and concert singer. He has already worked with conductors such as Daniele Gatti, Manfred Honeck, Ton Koopman, Andrew Manze, Omer Meir Wellber, and Hans-Christoph Rademann.

Krešimir Stražanac

Bass-baritone Krešimir Stražanac is one of Croatia's most important artists and has enjoyed continuous international success. At the age of 24, he became a member of the Zurich Opera House ensemble, where he remained for seven seasons. Since then, he has appeared as a freelance singer at numerous opera houses in Europe, Asia and North America. He also gives recitals, e. g. with Schubert's "Winterreise", and tours as a concert singer, working particularly closely with Philippe Herreweghe.

Dresdner Kreuzchor

The Dresden Kreuzchor is one of the oldest and most famous boys' choirs in the world. Even after more than 800 years, one of its most important tasks is to sing in the liturgical services of the Kreuzkirche on Dresden's Altmarkt, where it performs in vespers and church services and regularly gives concerts with outstanding works of sacred music. In addition, the Kruzianer, who have been singing under the direction of Martin Lehmann since 2022, regularly go on tours at home and abroad as cultural ambassadors for Dresden.

Organist in Residence Anna Lapwood and many other conductors and soloists from the 25/26 season also live on the island. And there is great music from Great Britain!
